Emilio’s DJing embodies Montevideo's ethos-unhurried and seamless mixing of rare and undiscovered dancefloor gems, darting between sinister techno and dreamy hints of house. His music is equal parts cerebral and visceral, psychedelic and groovy. Holding a residency at Phonotheque even since moving to Barcelona, he’s also been hugely responsible for bringing the Montevideo aesthetic to Europe, being a fixture across the underground circuit, playing regularly at clubs like Fold, Closer, and CDV.
